Meghan's coming! – The Voice Online

The media hate campaign suddenly appears to be over and it’s all love for the Sussexes
MEGHAN AND Harry are to visit the UK next month for the first time since returning for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
The visit of Meghan and Harry is certain to be welcomed by many in Britain’s black community.
The pair are due to attend the One Young World Summit in Manchester on 5 September, which brings together young leaders from across the globe.
It is a sign that relations may have improved with the royal family following their visit for the Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June.
It is notable that the usual conveyer-belt of hateful anti-Meghan articles in the Daily Mail and other publications has more or less ceased in recent weeks.
This is unlikely to be the result of Meghan and Harry’s legal actions against various newspapers, and more likely because editorial decisions have been taken to at least suspend their vendetta against the couple.
The one British institution that has not ended hostilities is the Home Office, who continue to resist Prince Harry’s legal action over his security arrangements in the UK.
Oh Dear that will upset the far right media.

For many of Her Majesty’s African-Caribbean heritage Subjects who understand life in England for people with African skin; and who remember how the beautiful Lady Diana was treated.
Meghan’s behaviour and accusation of skin-colour prejudice appeared inextricable; exaggerated and confusing, when one considers the thousands of Caucasian-heritage Subjects who lined the streets of Windsor on her wedding day.
Since her wedding day, Meghan has promoted and preached the creed of Political Correct and “wokism” to such a degree neither of them are welcomed in the United States or England.
What a tragic outcome considering the warm welcome Her Majesty’s Caucasian-heritage Subjects displayed on her wedding day.

Chaka I don’t understand what you are trying to say.
What is life like for people of “African skin” in England? Are you saying that we find racism towards Black people acceptable? Because I don’t.
I neither accept it nor entertain it.
I am yet to meet a Black person who thinks Meghan was treated better than Diana (where were the daily articles telling us what ‘mistakes’ Diana made every time she made an appearance? or the cost of each of her outfits? or the pre-warnings that she was not fit to be a Royal? or accusations of her bullying other Royals and their staff?).
Black women have been portrayed (by parts of the British media) as aggressive, bullies, wanting to be centre of attention – Naomi Campbell, Serena Williams, Easther Bennett, Vernie Bennett, Mel B to name a few. That’s why some have been predisposed to believe the gossip about Meghan. However, as someone who does not subscribe to these stereotypes of Black women, when hearing these stories I have always been left with questions.
I myself saw a comment by someone (around late 2016/early 2017) who said they thought Meghan was hot until they realised she was Black.
From 2016 I was seeing hate comments against Meghan posted mainly by people living in the UK, the USA and Australia.
As a result, I was surprised by the reception Harry and Meghan got when they went to Australia.
Yes, Meghan has always had White fans and White haters on both sides of the Atlantic (as well as around the world). That has not changed.
I would bet most of those who declare hatred for her now hated her back in 2016.
I find it interesting that when William talks about the environment, the war in Ukraine, Homosexuality he is not considered as being political or “woke”.
But Harry and Meghan are dismissed as “woke” for talking about the environment, gender equality, racism – as if being “woke” is a negative thing.
What is wrong with being “woke”?
It feels like some parts of the British media have successfully brain-washed some into having double-standards.

The news of Harry and Meghan’s return has not been met with love by all.
Some Royal fans have been attacking their associated charities WellChild and Young World Summit with hate messages and demanding they disassociate themselves from the Sussexes.
Hatred can take some people to extremely low levels.
Fancy threatening a charity?
