A guide to making the most of RNIB's Talking Books, our audio book plater for blind and partially sighted users

If you’re struggling to read because of your sight, we’ve got plenty of solutions to help, whatever your tastes and reading preferences. We’ve put together some information and guides to help you get started.
The free EasyReader app is a great way to enjoy RNIB’s Talking Books, talking newspapers and accessible school curriculum content.
Created by assistive technology developer Dolphin, the app will allow you to browse and download content from three different RNIB reading services:
EasyReader is available on both iOS and Android devices.
RNIB worked with Dolphin to ensure the app is tailored to readers with a vision impairment or dyslexia. The app offers a simple interface and access to downloaded content in one place, on a smartphone or tablet.

All you need to do to start accessing a wealth of literature, news and educational materials is to:
If you’re already registered on RNIB Reading Services, RNIB Newsagent or RNIB Bookshare, then you can use the same login details to access content on the EasyReader app.

New users can create an account with RNIB by calling our Helpline on 0303 123 9999.
Get the EasyReader app from the iOS App Store or the Google Play store.
