FIFA World Cup 2022, Uruguay vs Portugal Live Updates: Bruno Fernandes broke the deadlock as Portugal took a 1-0 lead against Uruguay early in the second-half. However, Rodrigo Bentancur came closest to open the scoring against the run of play as Diogo Costa made a sharp save to deny him. Portugal were forced to make an early change as Nuno Mendes had to limp off due to an injury. However, Portugal are favourites heading into this fixture, having defeated Ghana 3-2 in their opening match.
